Terms and Conditions 1. Kudosmedia was established in 1979, offering travel writing services to a small number of outlets. Since that time it has expanded greatly, now offering a full range of services. As well as the main media focused services, it also has a number of subsidiary interests, including the Trucks ‘n’ Tracks International Modelling Event, Landmark Models, Jade Music, The Witchdoctor Oldies Disco, Radio War and Peace, and Pro Traveller Magazine.
2. Privacy Policy. The following details how Kudosmedia treats personal information supplied by customers and trading partners: i) General Customers purchasing items from us, including model kits, Tickets to our events, Jade Music CD’s, and other such items which are in the nature of ‘one-off’ purchases: We take details only to complete the transaction. After that time all details, including those of credit and debit card, are securely destroyed. You can opt to be included on future mailing list if you so choose. ii) Traders booking stands at our events. We hold name, address, and contact details, on our database as we are required to do for all people trading at ‘occasional sales’. We also use these to contact those traders for the following year’s show. We do not hold any credit card details, or information relating to method’s of payment, other than that required to complete our audited accounts. No credit or debit card details are retained after payment has been cleared, and all details are securely destroyed. iii) Subscribers to our newsletter. We hold only name and e-mail address to facilitate the sending of the newsletter as requested. Should the subscriber wish to unsubscribe at any time, all details are deleted. iv) We do not share our contact details with any other group or organisation. v) Information given to Kudosmedia is viewable and used only by our own staff, and those official bodies which we are required by law to submit such items of information to.
3. Delivery. i) Advance tickets for events will be dispatched approximately one month before the event, or within two working days of purchase if the event is less than one month away. ii) Travel Writing Course, and Quiz Night materials will be sent in accordance with the schedules you have chosen (usually monthly). We will endeavour to send it as close as possible to the same date in each month to maintain regularity. iii) All other items (one-off purchases, etc) we aim to dispatch within 21 days. Certificate of posting is always obtained. We post by Royal Mail 2nd Class or international small packet rate, unless otherwise requested.
4. Refunds. i) To prevent fraud and counterfeiting, we unfortunately cannot refund advance tickets purchased for our events, or CD’s. ii) For models and accessories, we will refund items returned to us within 14 days of receipt, should the item be faulty, damaged, or not as described. We regret we cannot refund return postage. Should you wish to return an item for refund which is not faulty, damaged, or not as described, we will accept this if returned within 14 days of receipt, but an administration charge of £5.00 will be deducted from the refund amount. Please ensure you provide your name, address, and reason for return with any item sent back to us. Iii) For Travel Writing Courses and Quiz Night Plans, these can be cancelled at any time with one month’s notice. Any advance payments you have made will be refunded less an administration fee of £5.00. Please note, the Travel writing course cannot be cancelled in the first three months.
